I have carried these hooks for many years but now, the maker has retired so my supplier will be in search of a new maker. The hooks I have now are all I will have for now and when they’re gone, they’re gone, until a new maker is found.

This hook is Midwest made by a skilled artisan to give rug hookers the "Ritchie" imported hook that had been produced in England, but are no longer available. It has a nice, substantial handle with a stainless steel 6mm shaft of the hook. It is very light by comparison to some of the larger brass shaft hooks. The overall length of the palm-held shorter hook is about 5". The hook weighs about an ounce.
This 6mm hook have a hardwood handle with a fine but distinct grain and is $61.00. Please feel free to ask questions prior to ordering.

The 6mm size has a distinct color from the purple heart hardwood and the wood grain is unique with some banding.
